This is Part 2 of a four-part series, Incorporating Movement to Comprehensively Treat Preschoolers with ASD. This course examines the impact of poor balance, proprioception, and postural control, weak muscle tone, and restrictive-repetitive behaviors on intentional movement development for preschoolers with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Participants will be empowered to both identify deficits and describe evidence-based intervention strategies that address these motor challenges in order to improve social, cognitive, and linguistic outcomes for preschoolers with ASD.
