New Agenda, LLC is a neurodiverse-affirming Executive Function Coaching practice providing in-person and virtual-based coaching services. We specialize in academic, life skills/career, and social coaching services for individuals with executive dysfunction, including ADHD, ASD, learning disabled, brain injury, stroke, and neurogenic disorders, to empower individuals ages 9-99 to navigate barriers and reach their potential.

We are seeking SLPs or professionals with a background in speech-language pathology who are looking to work one-on-one with students/adults who have Executive Function challenges. As an executive function coach you will be responsible for creating activities, strategies, and supports to work on skills such as:
- Focus
- Working memory
- Impulse control
- Planning and organization
- Time management
- Task initiation
- Task Monitoring
- Goal Determination
- Cognitive Flexibility
- Fluency of ideas
- Emotional regulation
- Self-Advocacy
- Life Skills
- Job Skills
- Social skills/judgment/ problem solving.
- Social-relational development
At New Agenda, we believe in a relationship-based approach to support a systematic approach to change. As such, we work with your skills and your comfort level to best match you with our clients.
Preference will be given to:
- Master’s level or doctoral level special education teachers, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and/or speech-language pathologists with 3+ years related experiences
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Coaches who can commit to multiple clients per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide executive function coaching services to clients, focusing on their personal goals in conjunction with the development of executive function skills.
- Review assessments and reports with the client to identify clients' strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Develop personalized coaching plans and strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
- Guide clients in setting realistic and achievable objectives.
- Support clients in enhancing their executive function skills to support personal goals.
- Offer guidance and feedback to clients on their performance and progress.
- Collaborate with clients to develop action plans and strategies for overcoming challenges.
- Provide weekly coaching and mid-week support and motivation to help clients stay focused and committed to their goals.
- Document client sessions and maintain records on portal.
- Stay updated on research and best practices in executive coaching.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- A background check will be required
- Must be able to meet clients in their home and/or virtually
- Possess excellent customer service, interpersonal and written communication skills that reflect sensitivity to their audience (parents, school staff, mental health professionals)
- Maintain effective working relationships; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population
- Interact with other employees, students, and the public in a helpful, courteous, and friendly manner
- Flexibility and professionalism to respond productively to unexpected occurrences in operation and with clients
- Keen ability to adapt to personal learning styles of individual clients; compose correspondence and accurate reports with direction
- Analyze situations accurately and take appropriate action
- Communicate effectively in English
- Follow and give oral and written directions
- Ability to use computers, including video communication platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet
- General knowledge of Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.)
Occupation Classification Requirements:
- Speech-Language Pathologist OR
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in SLP with EF Coaching Experience
