In-Person Paraprofessional for Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Are you passionate about helping students succeed and interested in a future career as a Speech-Language Pathologist? We’re looking for a friendly, tech-savvy In-Person Paraprofessional to support students during virtual speech therapy sessions with a remote SLP. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive, engaging environment where students can thrive while you can gain valuable experience in the field of speech and language therapy. We're ideally looking for someone who sees a future in the field of speech-language pathology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help students participate in therapy activities and follow the SLP’s guidance.
• Encourage positive behavior and keep sessions fun and focused.
• Prepare materials and share feedback on student progress with the SLP.
• Troubleshoot minor tech issues and supervise students during and between sessions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience with children or communication disorders is a plus.
• Comfortable with technology and able to fix minor tech hiccups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build great relationships with students and the SLP.
• Ideal for those aspiring to become a Speech-Language Pathologist.
