Every Special Child Is seeking dedicated and qualified School Speech Therapist/ School Speech-Language Pathologist for next School Year (2024 -25) to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, including articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and goals.
- Provide individual or group therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills.
- Use evidence-based practices and technologies to support communication and swallowing goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment and treatment activities
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices and new technologies in the field.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology State License.
- Clinical experience working with clients of all ages with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and technologies in the field of speech-language pathology.
