Every Special Child Is seeking dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assitant (SLPA) for up-coming School Year 2024 -25 to join our team. We have the following requirements:
- 2 Full time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for Elementary
- Start Date: Aug 2024
- End Date: Jun 2025
- Pay Rate: $35/Hour to $40/Hour on W2
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, including articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and goals.
- Provide individual or group therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills.
- Use evidence-based practices and technologies to support communication and swallowing goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
- Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment and treatment activities
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices and new technologies in the field.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology, Audiology or any Speech related field.
- Speech Language Pathology Assistant Certificate/License preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Speech Pathology
