Speech Language Pathologist - Independent Contractor 

Local clinic seeking Speech Language Pathologist Independent Contractor interested in working with children and their families in their patients' homes in Las Vegas and/or working in a clinic setting in Pahrump. Morning/afternoon/evening and weekend appointments available - determined by you.

Job Description: 

• Conduct speech-language assessments via telepractice to determine eligibility for services, and AAC evaluations, when deemed appropriate.
• Develop, coordinate, implement, and monitor the patient’s plan of care via telepractice.
• Complete the following deliverables: daily SOAP notes, evaluation reports, progress reports, treatment plans, and billing forms.
• Provide patient and parent/caregiver education, home programming, and support to families via telepractice to help them understand their child's communication needs.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active/current license(s) in the state in which SLP resides and in Nevada, if SLP does not live in Nevada.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
• Active business license.
• Experience assessing and treating children with speech and language disorders and completing all required treatment documentation in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a self-determined treatment schedule.
• Comfortable with being an Independent Contractor (i.e., self-employed as defined by the IRS) and, as such, maintaining your own quarterly estimated taxes, liability insurance, and business license.
