Speech & Language Pathologist - Acute - (SLP)
StartDate: 9/23/2024
Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $1617.60 - $1863.76
OT needed asap
ASAP START
Shift: DAYS: 5x8s, 40 hours/week, 8am - 4:30pm, weekends and holidays as needed
Requirements:
Registered Occupational Therapist
BLS
2 years exp in specialty
Previous travel exp preferred
ALL TRAVELERS:
MUST live at least 100 miles away from the facility to which they are applying
If previously employed by CoxHealth, must have been gone for at least 2 years
An Occupational Therapist (OT) evaluates and treats patients in the acute medical setting. The OT treats patients of all ages as ordered immediately post trauma, surgery, acute medical event or exacerbation. Acute Care OT assist patients in reaching their highest level of independence in activities of daily living. OT staff make recommendations for the next level of care as well as adaptive equipment needed. OT staff plan and implement prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation services including counseling and orientation for mobility, pain relief, increasing strength, and/or improving or correcting disabling conditions.
