The Role
We are looking for an experienced Speech Therapist who can operate both independently and collaboratively to lead Speech Therapy as a specialized service within our practice. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and in close partnership with our Clinical Manager, you’ll be empowered to develop and deliver high-quality Speech Therapy services and to provide leadership in a stimulating, supportive environment.
Your varied responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized, outcome-focused goals for children
- Working one-on-one and in group settings to support skill-building in a fun and engaging way
- Collaborating closely with parents and professionals, fostering skills essential for each child’s growth
- Leading clinical team meetings and participating in enriching training opportunities
- Conducting training workshops on ASD and coaching junior and senior therapists
Who You Are
We’re looking for a proactive, mature-minded professional who is enthusiastic about helping children achieve positive outcomes. You have a natural ability to engage with children, strong strategic skills, and the ability to achieve results in a collaborative environment. Key attributes include:

- Empathy, motivation, and a commitment to professional growth
- Adaptability, creativity, and excellent time management skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of pediatric Speech Pathology experience with recognized certification (ASHA, SAC, RCSLT, IASLT, or NZSTA)
- Proven experience in creating individualized therapy goals, report writing, and collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams
- A background working with children on the autism spectrum or other disabilities
