The Stepping Stones Group is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team in Oaklawn, IL!
Job Details:
- Part-Time: 14-21 hours/week
- Caseload: 20 students
- Utilize specialized teaching strategies and tools to enhance learning and engagement for students.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, families, and other professionals to promote student success and integration into broader educational settings.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
- Foster a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, empathy, and self-confidence among students.
Requirements:
- Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in IL with PEL
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
