Speech Language Pathologist

The Independent School District of Boise City, located in Boise, Idaho is hiring a full time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2024-25 school year!

Compensation ranges from $50-017.00-$83,158.00 depending on experience, along with a generous benefits package. 

Responsibilities include assessing, evaluation and training persons with speech, language, voice and fluency disorders through direct therapy and consultative services.  

Qualifications: 

• Master of Arts or Science Degree (MA or MS) in speech/language pathology is required; Current Idaho state SLP license or eligible; and

• Applicants must hold or be eligible for an Idaho Pupil Personnel Services credential;

• ASHA's CCC's preferred, or supervision for CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) available if needed;

• Experience in school-based speech language pathology services is preferred;

• Evaluates, interprets test results, writes Individual Education Plans and works as a member of a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat and prevent communication difficulties;

• Ability to provide services at one or more school sites;

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing;

• Ability to maintain important records efficiently and accurately and prepare and submit the appropriate paperwork for Medicaid billing.
