Key Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field.
- Proficiency in digital communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, Zoom, etc.) is highly advantageous.
Licensing:
- Possession of a Standard Credential with specialization in Speech and Hearing Service, or other relevant credentials.
- Active Connecticut State license.
- Preferred: Active ASHA CCCs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with parents and school teams to identify students in need of communication assessments.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ communication abilities through tests, interviews, and observations.
- Create and execute tailored educational plans (IEPs) for students, in compliance with all legal standards, alongside parents and school teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress.
