Speech Language Pathologist

Every Special Child Is seeking dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist for up-coming School Year 2024 -25 to join our team in Oakland, CA. We have the following requirements:

•  2 Full time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for High School
•  2 Full time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for Elementary
• Start Date: Aug 2024
• End Date: Jun 2025
• Pay Rate: $60/Hour to $65/Hour on W2

Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, including articulation, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and goals.
• Provide individual or group therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills.
• Use evidence-based practices and technologies to support communication and swallowing goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure a coordinated approach to care
• Provide education and training to clients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment and treatment activities
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current on best practices and new technologies in the field.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology State License.
• Experience working with clients of all ages with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and technologies in the field of speech-language pathology.
