All this information is so relevant! As a bilingual-SLP, I've worked with many interpreters, and I cannot agree more that interpreters vary in skill and knowledge of school-based issues and vocabulary for IEP meetings. It would be great if districts would train a pool of interpreters to the specifics of school IEP meetings.
