I appreciate the reframes around some of the negative connotations with Gen Z, however I disagree with the integration of their phones into education. I have read a lot of research that indicates the technology is breaking down attention and ability to learn. It’s a strong belief of mine, but again, I do appreciate a lot of the reframes and I can see how they could benefit my approach to working with this generation.

As someone from the Baby Boomer Generation, this course opened my eyes to a generation about whom I know little. Understanding the "why" behind certain characteristics of members of Gen Z helps me to consider an approach to learning, interacting and working which is significantly different from that which is familiar and comfortable for me.
