Lauren presented great information about voice evaluation, combining lots of ways to learn about the client's voice through informal means and combining this with formal testing/ medical information to determine best treatments. Appreciated the focus on the client's own feelings and goals. If he/she is satisfied with current voice, even after the therapist's explanation, then putting them through therapy would not beneficial.

Lauren’s presentation was both clear and concise, effectively conveying her expertise and passion for the subject matter. I took my Voice and Resonance course last semester as part of my first graduate school term, but I wasn’t confident about how to do an evaluation. After watching this webinar, I feel a lot more confident and excited to get started. I know it’ll take some practice, but now I have a better understanding of both the process and the rationale behind it. Great webinar!

Because the instructor is excellent. I took this because I have a student who sounds raspy and loud. But I feel inefficient in the area of voice. I had to remind myself that the excellent instructor has experience almost daily. I still disagree with the answer on the exam about the grandma and the college student. Then again, I feel that cardiovascular exams should be automatic for everyone in spite of lack of symptoms.
