The instructor spoke from experience with vivid examples and passion for the topic, which helped illustrate how materials can be chosen and presented as sensory modulators. I really appreciated the admonition to not focus on the task but on the goals, and remember that dementia care is about safety, increasing participation, independence and quality of life; activities can be a gateway to achieve those goals.

The course was overall good, but a lot of content was the same as part 1 and I would have liked more examples of specific goals to write as well as other types of activities. But there were some good examples given that were repeated from part 1 of this series.
