The Presenter, ‘Amber Heape’ provided emphasis on how important it is to give the ‘Brief Interview for Mental Status’ exactly as it is written. Also, an in-dept exclamation of what can cause cognitive decline; Bacterial, Infectious, Sepsis(Neuro-inflammation) and, anesthesia. Timelines within normal time range to recover fromanesthesia; most within 1-hour/within a day. no major differences between IV or inhaled anesthesia.effects. And, how to select a further standardized assessment.

It is a very important to have a brief cognitive tool that can assess individuals for any new recent decline so that any changes can be identified, and treated in a timely manner and this test will also give a baseline and then other past and present medical diagnosis can be researched for the patients that would give a possible reason for the decline. This also allows a proper treatment plan for patient.
