Valuable information about a group of students who seem to be those "falling through the cracks" We all can think of kiddos that have some of the issues discussed. The information about minority and low-income student is troubling. Public education seems to be failing to meet the needs of many students.

The presentation was well-organized and included specific examples. The presenter's style was a bit depressing but clear and easy to understand. I have past experience working with gifted and 2E students that embraced the meaning of exceptional student education and had excellent programming through secondary. Perhaps the presenter can include examples from programs and SLPs that are helping children who are 2E to be successful?

I appreciate this course and wish more educators understood 2e students. I suspect my oldest child is gifted and yet has ADHD. School was a nightmare for him. We were fortunate enough to homeschool him 3-8th grade and I believe it made an incredible difference for him. I can only imagine what would have happened to him if he had been stuck in that environment or didn’t have a parent who could advocate for him. Thank you for your work in educating others about this overlooked population.
