This is the best webinar I have seen in years. It is so immediately useful with no "fluff". Packed with perfectly organized information that gives an SLP a strong approach to remediating students with severe-profound articulation disorders.

Good examples, would have been nice to see a clear blank form of the cycles, i.e. the example of John was not clear enough to read and a step by step on how to fill it out and understand it would have been nice.

The instructor's presentation was very well organized with visual slide support. The considerations for potential optimal targets and secondary targets, as well as their incorporation into treatment sessions was beneficial. Information regarding the modification of Traditional Cycle considerations, home practice options, and FAI for non-talking toddlers was excellent.

I always appreciate case studies that are incorporated in order to help facilitate learning. Discussing "John D."'s error patterns in this course was beneficial to learning which order to address error sounds and how to specifically address them. I am a visual learner so when examples like this can be included, it helps me apply the knowledge from previous discussion!

I liked the way he broke down the components of the cycles approach. This approach was introduced to me in graduate school, but in very few details. I never fully understood the process of choosing targets, time frames, etc. He presented some modifications and recommendations for bilingual children. The format of his presentation was easy to follow.

This filled in many of the gaps in my knowledge and use of the cycles approach. I am an older SLP and Barbara Hodson's work was not widely known when I was still in grad school. I have worked mainly with later elementary and middle/high school students but suddenly have had a big influx of preschoolers with SSD. Dr. Prezas' review of procedures and rationale will be so helpful in my planning more productive sessions.

Lots of great information, but it became a little overwhelming. I'd like him to include a few more case studies that take us step-by-step through the planning process, along with a series of brief lesson plans that show the progression of therapy. Also, a planning sheet would help!

1.The presenter did a very good job outlining the principles of the approach and the order of priorities in planning therapy. 2. Smart to include connection to Barbara Hodson and her perspective! 3.More specific examples of what this approach looks like would have made the course excellent. He provided this with the idea of centers in a classroom, for example, and I would have loved expansion on that as well as more instances of examples. Perhaps video clips of sessions would help.
