The presenters were very knowledgeable and the topic was interesting. I found that there were things presented that I might not have thought about if I were working with a patient in the circumstances described. The presenters took a broad perspective on helping patients.

This was one of the best courses I have taken on speechpathology.com. The attitude/presentation style of the presenters was wonderful as they spoke to us as peers. The information was very informative. The only thing that surprised me was there was no mention of counseling/psych referrals. As speech pathologists we can be supportive, but we don't have higher level skills in that area (in my opinion).

This course was fantastic, addressing a segment of care for which there is very little information! I also appreciated that the presenters acknowledged that it's likely that most of us have been working for some time, have experience in aphasia, etc so the content was a higher level and the pace was appropriately brisk. There was no point at which I was hoping that the pace would pick up.

This was an excellent course, I wish it were 2 hours long due to the amount of information that was covered as well as to allow more time for discussion/questions. While I don't treat brain cancer patients presently, I have in the past, and those memories are ingrained in me due to the difficult emotional issues that arose for all. Over thirty years post and I haven't forgotten those patients. I appreciated the testing materials that were pointed out as well as addressing emotional statements.

This course presentation was clear and well organized. It provided information about tools SLPs can provide to patients with cancer-related aphasia. It was emphasized that speech/language goals must be revisited and revised as patients' needs and abilities frequently change over time post surgery in terms of both cognitive and speech and language skills. The presenters also stressed the importance of aligning goals with the patients' communication concerns and priorities post surgery.

It was ok - nothing new - nothing I have not already done - we see ca aphasia all the time so it was a reminder that for pts this might be new and scary but most pts that we have seen have known someone who had a ca tumor in the brain. Mets are more common than GB but still cancer in the brain
