Coming from a state that is increasing it's cultural diversity, I really appreciated the education on culture and what to look at and be aware of when working with individuals and their families. It is stressful to evaluate these students with different languages as we often don't have the interpreters to assist us.

This was one of the best courses I've ever taken. I learned about what specifically to look for in bilingual/multilingual/and speakers of more than one dialect, additional questions I should ask families, and I now have a protocol for assessing this targeted population.
