Excellent course. Personally, I have stopped working as a Speech Pathologist for past year, because of burnout. Did not know what to do with stress caused by 35 years of "vicarious trauma" and pressure of hostile work environment caused by rehab company agenda of productivity and profitability at all cost. I am wanting to return to profession, but needed tools to cope. I really feel like you provided tools, and a positive message of "it's ok to care for yourself". A huge "thank you"!

I enjoyed the overview of brain structure & function but it took awhile to relate it to the topic of the paper which was Self-Care. Overall the content was interesting and it was relevant to remind clinicians that we must be aware if our clients are dealing with trauma as it can affect their success in therapy.
