The presenter was enthusiastic about the topic and presented it that way. I believe that yoga paired with reading is an excellent activity to include in therapy , especially for those children who have difficulty regulating their body movements (too active; too inactive). I will definitely use this in private practice with my preschool children. This topic was very interesting and current and appropriate for all ages especially preschoolers.

Integrating yoga into shared reading can enhance engagement, comprehension, and overall learning by incorporating movement, mindfulness, and sensory experiences. Yoga supports self-regulation, body awareness, and focus, which can improve attention to the story. Movement-based activities can help reinforce story themes, vocabulary, and sequencing while making reading interactive and enjoyable. Additionally, the calming effects of yoga can reduce stress, fostering a more relaxed and receptive lear
