The presenter was very engaging with her tone, facial expressions and gestures. I personally have ADHD and I remained engaged and interested without any distractions. The material was broken down into digestible chunks and presented in such a systematic way that I think anyone- teachers, parents, therapists and administrators could access this material.

The in depth discussion of topics/considerations was what made this course unique. Examples include information pertaining to how tests are measuring different skills depending on the text, mode of presentation and what type of response is being elicited. A second example was the multiple aspects of teaching vocabulary.

I really liked the examples she gives. Just like in Part 1, they helped bring it all together to make so much more sense. And these examples will help me pass on vocabulary meanings to my clients. I may have to do some homework before I can help my kids with Tier 3 words, though! I can see why reading comprehension decreases when kids don’t have lots of support and people using big vocabulary words around them from an early age
