Play development has been found to be connected to healthy social and emotional development. This course will discuss the importance of creating meaningful play experiences as related to the development of learning behaviors, executive functioning, perspective taking, resilience and self/mutual regulation. Strategies for incorporating play into speech and language therapy will be addressed.
Please note: This course is also available as part of a 4-hour series, "Play is FUNdamental" (Course 9391). By completing this course, you will NOT be eligible to complete the 4-hour series for CEU credit.
