I liked learning about target patterns for English and Spanish. This knowledge can help me apply it to other bilingual speakers who know different languages as well. For whichever languages a student speaks, I would start targeting the shared sounds and then move toward unshared sounds, and I have an idea of how I would choose the primary and secondary targets.

This is one of the first courses I've taken in years that added new knowledge to my repertoire. I am highly familiar with Hodson's approach, having taught it myself but this course was a great refresher. The particular target choices for children from a variety of language backgrounds was helpful. It was particularly helpful that this course did not stop with information solely about Spanish speakers.

Good quick review of mutilingual learners. A bit complicated and some specific written plans of what a cycle looks like would be helpful. Of note, I had to do the transcript because of my location rather than video/audio. Having video/audio may have been better than just reading the transcript/presentaion slides.
