This was a great course not only for professional development but also for developing a better understanding of the chronic pain experiences for those in our personal lives. Courses that are applicable to professional and personal development are my favorite.

I appreciated the background framework of pain, as that is not normally covered in my typical pain management basic coursework in my field. The instructor presented very technical information using a very clear way of explaining things. Even without being in the field of PT I was able to grasp most of the content.

This course provided a plethora of information I had never known. Although I don't know how much is applicable for me as a school-base SLP, it was highly interesting and actually rewarding to me as an individual with chronic pain from having Rheumatoid Arthritis since the age of 8 years. The information about childhood experience resonated with me. It also help me understand my pain path and possibly some things I might attempt again. Mike seems genuinely dedicated to helping people with pain.

However, the presenter was excellent, describing the concepts clearly and in a very engaging manner. Outstanding! This presenter is one of the best I've seen on this platform! As an SLP,I found this presentation extremely helpful to understand the impact of Pain on our residents, with immediate implications to better understand how to interact with my clients and within the interdisciplinary team. This presenter worked hard to ensure that the learning experience was accurate, evidence-based and applicable, and certainly demonstrated a goal to ensure new learning and competency in this subject.
