I enjoyed this course as it went through a variety of ways to feel more confident and prepared for IEP meetings. As mentioned, in our school coursework there is very little about how to prepare for these types of meetings, and it is very broad. Each school completes things differently and having a more detailed idea of what to expect and what is expected of us makes a difference.

I liked the examples the presenter gave, the experiences she shared reflected my own experiences. The TikTok videos were very small and hard to see in this type of setting. I was hoping to have a resource that was a short and highlighted the important "to-do" recommendations for a smooth IEP meeting. The resource is about 75 pages.

This one is good for me to refer our newer SLPs to listen/participate in. As a coordinator, I have been in a lot of contentious meetings. It's extremely intimidating but of one is prepared, he or she can handle it much better. Many good suggestions in this presentation!

The information provided in this training was nothing I didn't already know. This course would be good for people who have never done IEP meetings before or are new in the profession, but it wasn't really helpful for someone with 9 years of experience conducting IEP meetings. I was hoping for some new information, and that's of no fault to the instructor.
