It was a good course. I feel that she talked quick and morphology/syntax is the most difficult area to assess and provide intervention for. It would be beneficial for JUST intervention strategies to be discussed.

This course contained great information. However, I felt like it was A LOT of information to be put into a one hour course. The examiner obviously knew her "stuff" but talked very quickly. I felt like this could be a good syllabus for a college course with room needed for more examples and practice.

I don't ever remember being taught strategies to deal with grammar and I tend to view it as less important when working on goals. I now know that understanding grammar has a huge impact on understanding not just the meaning/comprehension of texts but how I learn new words. My kids are going to get a better dose of grammar skills

The speaker was extremely knowledgeable on the topic. She had lots of good information to share. She was engaging in her presentation, but very quick in her presentation. This did not allow for processing before moving to the next item. There was little time to look at the examples to clarify what she was saying. I think this would better be broken into several sessions to allow for better comprehension of the valuable information.
