I love this course! I think regulation is an extremely important part of working with children that is rarely discussed or factored in, especially in a school setting. Children will not be successful unless regulated. This was great.

The material in this course is something that can apply to all areas of life. I currently do not work as a SLP because I am home with my children. I home school the children and I can see how starting off the school day with some of these mindfulness strategies and awareness strategies can get the child ready for something that may be challenging or difficult. Also I can see how these strategies can be good for having the children use them when they are not playing together well or emotional. ty

I loved the visual examples that she demonstrated at the end of the course. I would appreciate more examples of how to explicitly teach mindfulness to children and how to help them learn how to monitor their own mindfulness. I was slightly confused about whether this course was more geared toward the SLP's mental health and awareness or that of students.
