It is nothing against the presenter and I am glad she was able to provide evidence based information, but I lost interest at times. It's just my personal learning and interests of research vs. experiences.

This course was excellent because of the instructor's aplomb and "unconscious competence" and the way she organized the material for us to internalize and remember it. The interwoven mental-health content always resonates deeply with me as I studied David Luterman even in graduate school 25 years ago!!

This course was a good refresher for me as I have been a supervisor of CFs, SLPs, and SLPAs for years. Although it is listed as an introductory level course, I felt that reflecting on the roles of the supervisor and looking at the various models of supervision was good information. I will definitely apply the information to my current supervisory role working in the school district setting.

It certainly made me think of many of the mentors I had, how they were able (or unable) to deliver feedback to me, how it affected our relationship, and how much I learned from the positive relationships achieved during supervision. It also will make me keep that in mind when I an coaching students aswell.
