The principles of motor learning, which are foundational for treating childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), are discussed in this course. An overview of evidence-based motor therapy approaches based on the principles of motor learning, including Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), Rapid Syllable Transition Treatment(ReST), and Speech Motor Chaining, is reviewed.
