I had a hard time following him. It might have been because it was a fast class and he hit the high points/ summary only. I would have liked for this session to have been longer with more detail and more detailed examples (real life examples he had used in his therapy).

After nearly 30 years as an SLP, mostly in the school setting, I really appreciate this instructor's teaching style, concrete examples, and explanations. I have completed two of his courses and will look for others. I also appreciate his courses are concise and not any wasted time that I can determine! Thank you!

I enjoyed taking each of your Whole-Part-Whole courses. I got the idea and tried it a work today, now, I've completed this course and I'll expand and improve without having to view the other course again. I love the skills the kids walked away with this afternoon, both from the history lesson and picture they analyzed to the syntax used in talking about Daniel Boone and his life.

I learned that the goal of contextualized vs decontextualized language is generalization. I typically use thematic units to reinforce this! "Part" activities provide opportunities for focusing on specific skills. Re-visiting the "whole" activity reinforces opportunities to practice language concepts in meaningful contexts.

Should have been one video, not three separate ones. The examples were a good start, but I feel like I already understand the concept of embedding language instruction in contextualized activities, and the difficulty is choosing the right children's book or activity or project for the right language target. It would have been helpful to get some guidance or examples about that.
