Additionally, I appreciate the emphasis on standard error of measure and confidence intervals as I believe that is often overlooked. I look forward to further information as it is developed - especially for school aged children (7-12 y.o.a.)

This course repeated much of the information I've already learned on my own through my own research or through other courses. This course reviewed and explained standardized test features to encourage assessors to determine their level of diagnostic accuracy. A variety of non-standardized measures must also be used to fully examine the dual language learner's (DLL) skills in both languages, because difficulty must be evidenced in both languages. Also, examiners are cautioned against giving too much weight to standardized test scores in determining eligibility for services. These are important considerations.

Extremely relevant information, especially for school-based therapists! Take this information to the people who are making decisions about criteria for Special Education qualification in your area. Loved the reference to the LEADERSproject as well. School-age language assessment measures (SLAM) should be incorporated whenever possible in assessment.
