I am currently in burnout. Our company is eliminating positions. I used to do homecare visits on weekends for extra income for the same company. They have transitioned this to be part of my workday (double the workload) for less money. I have a history of anxiety disorder and being a people pleaser/workaholic. I have found your course very informative and helpful. I am navigating my way out of burnout and this course was very relative to my current situation. Thanks.

This course had strengths and weaknesses on a very important topic. As a 23 year SNF SLP and a former Rehab director, I can relate to a lot of the information in the presentation, and there were some good points brought up that I will implement and are helpful. Where it falls short is over - focus on lesser areas (sleep, nutrition - way too much time spent on these two topics) and a total glossing over of emotional coping strategies - this slide was barely addressed, and is more impactful.

A nice general course. I've rarely felt significant burnout in my 30+ career as an SLP in schools. When I did it was usually admin or workload related. It was more about not being supported especially by ASHA in terms of procedures and number limits. Also found that lack of support from other SLPs contributed.

Internal burnout contributors are often not verbally expressed aloud in conversations. It was a good reminder to look at what drives/motivates a person. It is good to reflect on these contributors to identity what is important.
