The topic is important to learn about in light of the fact we are encountering so many types of natural disasters in diverse parts of the country and the population of students/clients we work with are at greater risk than those of typical populations. This presenter had a calm and even tone and voice during the presentation which made it easy to attend to. Her pace was also very good as it allowed time for processing the information she provided. She is an excellent teacher.

I liked it. I liked that it was a short course and that it stayed focused on what the course was supposed to teach. I think its a course that would be good for most adults to take regardless of their occupation. For example, My Dad was a State Farm Agent and my siblings are currently State Farm Agents. This would be something they could use with their clients, especially the plan that was included. Thank you for that plan!

I really enjoyed this course because it is something I personally worry about encountering working in the school setting. I have a high number of students on my caseload with ASD along with a variety of other sensory related needs. Making a plan, packing a bin is essential for pre-frontal cortex activation during times of stress. I want to aim to strengthen my client support network for my caseload with/without disasters in place.
