I learned so much from this course. I work with many preverbal students and the framework that was covered allowed me to categorize my students by their skills and helps to see what they need to work on next. I can see myself referring back to this course in the future. So good!

She explained strategies I have been using to build communication and play skills in my young clients and non-verbal ASD students. I really appreciate her sharing her knowledge and I learned things too! Validation of meeting kids where they are and that the language skills can be developed--though at a slower rate.

Well presented course, just not a lot of new information to me, so not likely to impact my daily practice much. But it did increase my confidence in the area since I think I could have presented the course myself :) But it is great info for those who are not trained in this methodology or for whom it does not come naturally.

The presentation provided a lot of good information especially the intentionality chart that showed the 3 stages of development and the strategies for each stage. Since there was so much information, the presenter had to go through everything very quickly. I think the presenter should have been given more time to elaborate on some of the topics.

The use of the intentionality framework to guide where the child is functioning and providing intervention strategies in all of the areas (cycles of experiences) was extremely helpful. The presenter’s use of anecdotal comments and personal experiences added so much value to the course. These real-life examples made the material more relatable and easier to connect with in a practical setting

This course provided me with meaningful ideas to help many of the preschool children with autism that I serve. The charts that were used to determine intentionality that a child is performing at along with an intervention chart will be useful. I plan to use these along with the many ideas and examples that she discussed.

Liked going through three stages of intentionality to set the stage and aligning our definitions with each other. Some unnecessary details throughout first part of presentation. Loved the charts and analysis of Intervention Strategies with Cycle of Experience. Really wished there were more slides on this as it is sooo relevant to the most profound kiddos. Sad missed out on two case studies at the end due to so much time being spent at the beginning. Great information about example supports!!!
