The instructor shared tremendous knowledge in a short window of time. I loved how she continually embedded her target terms into the cases she discussed because it made the info relevant and easily transferrable to work. Two suggestions would be 1- 2 video clips, but that might be difficult with a 1-hour time limit. Also, it would have been good to highlight the specific research just a bit more related to specific topics (e.g. the vowel repertoire and language trajectory for ASD students.)

As a new SLPA working with a variety of populations, I find myself struggling with what therapy should look like and how to tailor it from day to day. This course really helped me to better understand where my non speaking ASD preschool students are linguistically. I have really worked hard to slow down and reduce my speech but for some of my students it seems I need to do even less speaking. Thank you for this information!
