This course provided some excellent background on different collaborative approaches for integrated/"push-in" therapy practices. I loved seeing the different applications for collaborative therapy and understanding both the SLP and teacher roles in this process. I would love more information on how to incorporate this at the high-school level as there is a lot more independent learning in a very quiet environment within my district.

Good ideas but would be tough to implement with high caseloads and low planning time. I could see how this could eventually, in the long teem, actually reduce workload but the time cost to change models would be huge.

I appreciated the actual way to teach the vocabulary with visuals as well as how to have the students have access to the taught vocabulary on a ring for referencing when needed when the SLP or teacher are not available to define the words again. I also liked how the course started with how to collaborate with general education teachers. That is not something that was fully taught in graduate school and was not explicitly taught or modeled during our internships/CF year.
