I really enjoyed the presenter's demonstration of the therapy techniques for cough as well as her analogies for helping patients to better understand why they cough (i.e the watchdog, sunburn, and mosquito bite). These really helped demonstrate the issue of laryngeal sensitivity in chronic cough.

I do not work with this population and would not because there is a facility near mine that specializes in cough. However, this course gave me enough information that I could educate pt's prior to referring on or I would feel comfortable trying some of this with a patient that I'm possibly seeing for another diagnosis and this is also occurring, informing them that I'm not a specialist. But some pt's do not want to drive the distance or the area that the cough specialist is located.

The ENTs from the clinic next to ours approached us about incorporating chronic cough management into our treatment. I honestly had no idea how to do this, so I came here. This course and the chronic cough evaluation course were absolutely fantastic! She gives very specific examples and provides you with a great foundation to start evaluating and treating in this area. Thank you so much for teaching this course and sharing your knowledge!
