The presenter was experienced in working with individuals presenting deficits in this area of study and therapy, as well as in researching her topic, she delivered information in an organized fashion giving examples, visual metaphors or analogous representations of difficult-to-convey concepts...She was very professional in her communication and easy to follow in a subject of study that many in her audience knew little about. Kudos to her!!

It is new information so that is helpful, but the presenter didn't seem overly confident or prepared. It may be that she does not see many of these patient's because it is not the most common in my experience, so she can't be as well versed as presenters who see multiple patients daily with the diagnosis they present on.

This was a new area of learning for me. The cerebellum has long been underestimated it seems. Pondering if described CCAS behaviors that are noticed in other disorders, may respond to external self-monitoring and feedback, if isolated and specifically addressed.

She presented the neuro/bio information and pertinent treatment information in a way that someone (me) who has been out of the medical side of treatment for 9 years could pick right back up with and understand. So much has changed since I have left the medical setting and this new info was presented without making me feel overwhelmed

I never heard of this diagnosis before. Since I recently started working with adults again, I think this will be another tool in my therapy toolbox. I like that there is a test that can be used to help diagnose this disorder. The instructor provided a good overview of the symptoms and possible treatment options.

It addressed a unique area that many may not usually associate with cognition and likely would have been quick to be dismissed. These cognitive impairments would explain other more-commonly known effects such as motor (physical) deficits and dysphagia, especially as attention is involved.
