Explanations about doing the correct type of hearing test is imperative. It also is not just getting the appropriate technology/hearing devices for children but why they need to be appropriate. Children need to hear in normal conversation, soft conversation and in noisy environments. They also need to be hearing residual language that happens with students in the classroom. Also, not all hearing impaired are candidates for cochlear implants but some benefit greatly from them.
