The information on how you can just focus on taking mostly baseline data at the beginning of treatment as the student is still learning the skill, and then gather more detailed data towards the end/when they show development of that skill, was very helpful. The ideas for using rubrics was helpful was well.

There are so many moving parts to therapy and data collection! I want to make sure I'm providing the best therapy without distraction from data collection yet quantitative data shows progress and helps streamline entering information into progress notes. So it's imperative to take it. The types and frequency portion were helpful in thinking about organizing data collection in a more efficient manner. My students love collecting data! This helped put words behind the benefits of that.
