I thought the speaker had a great voice. She was an excellent speaker. She had knowledge on a subject that is not widely talked about. She offered advice as well as personal stories. I was validated in my practice as I also try to incorporate games into my therapy sessions. I also modify the card game "War" with my students. I appreciated her points she provided that supported how important leisure is to an individual--in their social life, in their future, and for happiness.

As the mother of a teenager with autism and as an SLP, I found the content incredibly relevant. Working towards learning independent use of leisure skills is vital. It's essential for social relationships, engaging in the community and bonding within the home with family members. This is a podcast that I will go out of my way to recommend to my colleagues, as it's packed with practical adaptations to age-appropriate activities. I love the component of addressing physical activities. Bravo!
