I felt like the level of the content would have been more appropriate for a graduate student or a CF. Most everything she mentioned seemed like common knowledge amongst myself and my colleges. I was hoping for more specific strategies. Especially when the things she mentioned don’t work.

This course was so interesting with wonderful suggested therapy materials and therapy activities that work very well for increasing joint attention and increasing expressive/receptive language for early learners. The information provided was right on target with my intervention strategies for my birth-three clients, which was affirming that I am on the right track. Love Love Love this podcast. Rose's podcasts are amazing!

This was good information. These are things I have been doing and focusing on for a long time. I hadn't actually thought of them as joint attention. I thought of them as building reciprocity and following the child's lead though I certainly see how they are related. I tend to think of eye gaze shift between objects and people as a marker for joint attention. I was thinking the course would talk about how to elicit or build eye gaze communication during shared activities.

Quality over quantity for the win! In just 30 min, so much helpful information is presented in a way that is easy to absorb, practical, & easy to put into practice right away!! I appreciate the voice of support for dedicating therapy time to joint attention goals, incorporating the child's interests and FUN functional play-based strategies. Lastly, it is SO hard to feel justified waiting for a child to come to you, instead of actively pursuing their attention, but it makes so much sense.
