The tone was sometimes patronizing. Please be sensitive to the fact that autistic SLPs also watch these presentations. Otherwise, it's good that the use of narrative is being emphasized as a way to empower disabled people.

I was so impressed by the breadth of knowledge and experience of the presenter. Kelly Vess is a pioneer! She teaches how to empower children with autism to grow in their confidence, communication, and speech and language skills by challenging them through telling narratives. She recommends tea narratives using a multimodality approach. She also that uses a hierarchical structure to fade prompts and increase novel independent narratives and other skills. This course was pure awesomeness!
