This is such a timely course for me. As I continue my career, I am encountering more and more students with atypical disfluency. There is not much research about it, so I appreciate this course providing more information, a review of some of the research on treatment, and assessment information.

This will help me immediately! I have a student who fits just this "atypical disfluency" profile with underlying pragmatic issues and no awareness. Was wondering how to treat this. This course has provided me with an appropriate outline of treatment.

I enjoyed this course. It was very informative. Learning about Atypical Disfluency was completely new to me. It is more complicated than to assess than what we typically consider stuttering. I also learned that the treatment approach can be completely indirect, depending on the student and even a language-based intervention. This was unexpected for me. I appreciate the new perspective on treating disfluencies.

The presenter's manner of speaking made it easy to follow along with what she was saying. The presentation was well organized. I like how realistic her expectations were for what we can do as clinician's. The only thing I would suggest is either being more descriptive about the treatment strategies or re-enactments or videos of the treatment. It was a little hard to understand how to do some of the treatments without seeing the treatment take place.
