The information and research shared about atypical disfluency was helpful and validating to my own experiences as a school-based therapist. It also provided me a better way to explain atypical disfluency to teachers and parents and what areas that may need more assessment. I appreciated the treatment information because there's not a lot of research in this area and their study results at least gave me a place to start that proved effective for them.
