Nancy B. Swigert, MA, CCC, BCS-S (Life Member), speech-language pathologist, is president of Swigert & Assoc., Inc., her consulting company, through which she continues to teach and write in pediatric and adult dysphagia. She received her master’s degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She was President of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association in 1998. She received the Honors of ASHA in 2015. She chaired the American Board of Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders from 2012-2014. She has numerous clinical publications with ProEd and the 3rd edition of The Source for Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing will be released in 2023.
