I prefer written word so that I may refer back as necessary in the future. I appreciate the information and believe this article to be well written and informative. I have two special needs kids and I implement literacy in a lot of things that we do so this served as good confirmation to continue in this same vane. Thanks for your work and research.

For me this article provided a nice review of what literacy activities can look like in Early Intervention and should look like for children with Special needs. Unfortunately, in special education classrooms and in therapy settings as well, these kinds of activities do not always take place due to the focus on academic curriculum.
