I actually think that this would have been a more effective course with more tables and visual examples, pictures of the oral/pharyngeal/nasal structures. I also believe that an audio example of the different types of resonances and VPI compensatory strategies would have been more effective. There is some great information in here, but simply reading it just doesn't seem like enough. It needs to be backed up with the recommended visual and audio examples to really drive the points home.

My graduate program did not have a full course on voice (it was only half a semester with AAC being the other half). It was a good refresher that also shared new information. Great information in the write-up, however I was hoping for further information related to treatment. The 19th question discussed that once VPI is surgically corrected speech therapy can be provided, however the course does not go into detail regarding what the treatments or cues/prompts/exercises might look like.
