First time taking a "reading the paper" course. Much more difficult for me than watching or listening. It was fun to pass the test though. Felt like I was in grad school again! I wonder if there is a way to have the paper "read" to you while reading it to help those of us who need audio and visuals to learn best. :)

It is obvious the presenter has a wealth of information, advanced certification, and experience pertinent to AOS, but is clear there is much overlap and interplay of AOS with aphasia and dysarthria characteristics when a person presents with this type of verbal communication disorder. It seemed a little confusing to me, but my takeaway is to recognize rarely is AOS a stand-alone diagnosis.

This course proved instrumental in elucidating the challenges faced by one of my current students, particularly in discerning whether he was experiencing Apraxia of Speech (AOS). It provided me with valuable insights and knowledge that facilitated a deeper understanding of his condition, enabling me to offer more informed support and guidance in his therapy and academic endeavors.
